  1. I’m not trying to imply anything broader because I’m an American and I only vaguely have the context for this… but just in general, it’s always interesting to keep in mind that Hitler was part Jewish. Leadership level hypocrisy, so near as I can tell, doesn’t actually have any upper bound.

  2. The quote was left incomplete.The remaining portion says :While hardened thugs and extortionists with purchased degrees deserve the Bharat ratna, and to have their face pasted on public messages and vaccine certificates, despite not being worth the very paper on which it is printed.

  3. While there’s a lot of mockery of this statement, I think people are not realising the deeply problematic nature of this comment.

    Illiteracy shouldn’t be something you shame regular people about, it’s governmental failure.
