  1. I worked it this year, and everything was what I expected, although I was caught off-guard by being stationed at one of Calgary’s designated anti-mask redirection spots. They really should have mentioned this location while onboarding; it is not like I made more money for being put at more risk. Fortunately, I only had to deal with three anti-maskers who got rejected from voting at the schools for non-compliance to Calgary board of education’s mask mandate.

    Yes and this was announced well before the elections occurred, giving the individual advance notice of what work conditions would be like.

  3. You’re immunocompromised with asthma and you take a job at a polling station, where you are going to be exposed to huge numbers of people – both vaccinated and unvaccinated, masked and unmasked and from many different walks of life.

    And Elections Canada put you at risk?

    You put yourself at risk.
